1) Do not just merely wait unless you have the "nuts" or else you will be predictable and your opponents will know and will simply do the folding to answer with your all-in.
2) Bear in mind that it is easier to bet an "all-in" than calling one. The thing that you need to do is to win the hand if you are sure that your opponent will definitely fold.
3) You can also bully other players from the table into folding if you are the chip leader and are strong enough. In the long run, you will definitely lose a few of your chips if you have lose an all-in, but if you win, all those that called will lose and get kicked out of the game.

5) If you have a short pile of chips beware of going all-in. If you lose you will be automatically out of the tournament. Before you go all-in be sure that you have an unbeatable hand or a last resort as you can't make the next round of blinds.
6) If you have a short pile of chips you can't bluff your opponents, they will not be afraid because as you do not have lots of chips to be afraid of. But then again, you can still go all-in if you have a monster hand.
7) From the opposite side of the table and your opponent with the short pile of chips goes all-in, it is better if you re-raise. This move may scare other player who will call after your bet.
